Advaita Acharya’s Appearance Day

Today is Sri Advaita Acharya’s appearance day. The foremost of all the Vaishnavas who reside at Navadwip is Sri Advaita Acarya, whose virtuous presence has made all the worlds blessed. He is the most preeminent preceptor in all fields including knowledge, renunciation and devotion.

In explaining Krsna-bhakti he is like unto Lord Shankara (Shiva) himself, and whatever scriptures that exist within the three worlds he explains in the light of Krsna-bhakti.

Sri Advaita Acharya is an avatar of Sadashiva, the original Siva of the spiritual world and Maha Vishnu, the original Purusha of the universal creation. That same personality descended into this world to assist Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu by accepting the role of the servant of the servant.

It was only because of Advaita Acarya’s deep compassion and fervent loud crying and prayers to Lord Krsna for us conditioned souls of Kali Yuga who are been glided in the materialistic ocean of darkness bereft of forgetfulness of Lord Krsna, that He made Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to appear to spread the holy name of Krsna and save us from clutches of maya.

Ultimately everything Advaita Acarya did was simply to reveal to the world the glories of the holy name of Krsna and to induce the fallen souls of this world to chant the holy names Hare Krsna Hare Krsna, Krsna, Krsna Hare Hare/Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama, Rama Hare, Hare.
