They have been conducting plays, cooking and distributing prasadam (sanctified food offered first to Lord Krsna) to the children who are lead in blissful Harinam sankirtan processions (singing the Hare Krsna mantra and dancing through the streets).
They run workshops where they teach how to play different musical instruments, distributing transcendental literature, keeping the body fit through yoga, etc. This team of devotee women has also embarked on developing other outreach programs at orphanages in other areas in Durban.
Srila Prabhupada encouraged this kind of preaching work by his followers and introduced the congregational chanting of the Holy Names to the whole world since the sixties. The chanting of the Hare Krsna mantra gives quick and sublime results to the sincere seeker.
