Sri Godruma Kalpatavi, “The Desire-tree Grove of Godruma,” is a compilation of Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s description of the “Market of the Holy Name” or Nama Hatta established by Nityananda Prabhu. The purpose of this book is to assist the Vaisnavas to expand the Sankirtan movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, represented by Srila Prabhupada all over the world. ISKCON Congregational Development Ministry has just printed the new Second and Revised Edition of this book in Bengali with H.H. Jayapataka Swami’s commentaries. We also have available its version in English.
Originally produced by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in Bengal over 120 years ago, the Sri Godruma Kalpatavi was intended to guide the leaders and members of his preaching movement. The topics discussed in this book are very practical and relevant for all those who want to support the practice and preaching of Krsna consciousness.
