The final day of the wonderful month of Purusottama has arrived. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura doesn’t specify details for this day but in general, it is recommended that from 5 am the person following a given austerity, can break the particular vow.
However, Bhaktivinoda Thakura says that it is very auspicious to give charity to Vaisnavas and to specifically feed devotees with special Prasadam called “Malpuas”. He instructs devotees to prepare “Malpuas” (at least 33 of them), offer them to Lord Krsna, Purusottama, and happily distribute them.
Depending on your availability and circumstances, let us try to make this special day a grand celebration of Krsna’s mercy in association with devotees; face-to-face or virtually.
