With the start of the auspicious Damodara month nearing, which according to the Vaisnava scriptures is the holiest of all months, we are happy to offer you a user-friendly “Damodara-kit” to facilitate your celebration of this wonderful pastime. This can be used in the temple, devotees’ homes and where ever you may conduct the Damodara program.
The Damodara program has been developed to assist the collective participation of congregations and has an outstanding success reaching over a 100,000 people in just one month in Malaysia. The Congregational Ministry wants to assist you in implementing this amazing program in your area.
The idea is simple:
. Engage devotees to visit people’s homes to perform the Damodara worship.
. These devotees will then encourage their hosts to offer a lamp or candle to Lord Damodara and to sing and hear the narration of the Damodara song pastime.This Damodara-kit has everything that you need to facilitate the program, it includes:
. Power Point presentations to encourage everyone to know about the pastime, to listen and sing the Damodarastaka song, to present the program to others, and to hear Srila Prabhupada’s narration.
. Children’s version slideshow.
. Handouts for participants, a brochure, and a report template.
