Lord Nrishimhadeva Accepted Our Offering

Dear Subscriber,

Hare Krsna! Please accept our humble obeisances, all glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga, all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

First of all we, at the ISKCON Congregational Ministry, want to convey our honest concerns for you and your family’s safety and overall wellbeing. We also offer our condolences to the families of devotees who have recently passed away due to the Corona Virus outbreak. We find ourselves like most parts of the world struck by the turn of events with this virus emergency and thus we sincerely pray to Lord Nrisimhadeva for protection of the congregation of devotees and the whole human population. We trust that under the secure guidance of Srila Prabhupada and the Vaisnavas we can achieve perfection in all respects by glorifying the names of Krsna in full devotion and humility, the real and permanent medicine for all material adversities.

Last month, we celebrated the most auspicious occasion of Gaura Purnima, Lord Caitanya’s Appearance Day, with great pomp and with throngs of devotees and guests attending. This month of April brings one of our most important celebrations – Rama Navami-, the Appearance Day of Lord Ramacandra, the perfect king and protector. We pray that He help us to safely continue to perform our devotional services despite the difficulties that we are experiencing.

As the Vedic scriptures explain, Sridham Mayapur is the spiritual world; and it is here where Srila Prabhupada established the headquarters of his ISKCON movement. The Congregational Development Ministry, at his central offices in Mayapur, is working hard to keep its connection with various communities worldwide and continue to provide support via the internet. Our staff is committedly carrying out their duties, from home, and all the services offered by our offices are operating practically at a normal pace.  However, due to the government’s restriction all functions, festivals and sangas had to be cancelled or postponed. Still, our service has to go on. Congregational devotees can support and increase their sadhana and personal services by accessing devotees’ association over the internet.

Another celebration that will be affected this month is the appearance day of H.H. Jayapataka Swami -ISKCON Congregational co-minister-, on the April 4th (Kamada Ekadasi), but rather it will be virtually transmitted world-wide. For the real-life ceremonies, only a limited handful of devotees will actually be present.  His Holiness recommends that we increase our association and sharing of Krsna Consciousness utilizing standard social media outlets.

We at the CDM would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for your continuous support. Our services are only made possible by the kind financial support and good wishes of wonderful donors such as you. From this holy land, we send our prayers that everything gets normalized for our worship of Lord Gauranga to continue without hindrance
